Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Specialty Benefits Business Lead Product Owner with overall accountability and ownership for managing multiple business capabilities within a line of business
  • Engage with business leaders to understand the business strategy and create the business roadmap
  • Manage demand intake, prioritization, and alignment to execution utilizing AHA tool
  • Identify high value investments for business based on a value scorecard
  • Establish iterative approach for review and adjustment for product roadmap
  • Ensure solutions align with Specialty Benefits’ strategic direction and driving the expected business value
  • Establish and facilitate ongoing Product Management Council (PMC) practices for the demand intake and alignment to execution
  • Conduct regular retrospect to improve the PMC process
  • Create and Maintain Product Roadmap for 2-3 years in AHA
  • Work to drive stakeholders to key decisions and communicate those decisions
  • Host regular meetings with Specialty business SMEs and leaders to provide updates on program progress and drive execution of tasks tied to releases
  • Support the preparation of materials for Specialty business updates, Deep Dive Sessions and ESC meetings
  • Support the capital related activities like business case preparation, cost projections and CBA refresh activities and manage the capital pool for the portfolio in close partnership with the capital manager
  • Manage the work of the Feature Product Owners to ensure business idea is implemented with the right business outcome
  • Act as the liaison between Business and development team
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience leading capability enablement and product development in a large-scale, highly matrixed team environment
  • Ability to work with business leaders and enable strategy execution
  • Ability to lead and manage change initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in agile delivery methods

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SAFe , LeSS or similar frameworks
  • Experience working with AHA and Rally.
  • Experience in the healthcare insurance domain.
  • Demonstrated experience in verbal and written communications and presentations at the executive level

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
