Senior Customer Service/Sales Engineer



Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Customer Service/Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting local customers in product development and quality assurance in the IT field. This role will coordinate with internal teamsmonitoring product quality performance on the customers production line and in the market and troubleshooting quality issues. This jobs responsibilities require exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibility:

  • Define new project (display for smart phone and IT devices) plans and schedules with the customer engineering team
  • Lead and coordinate internal cross- functional teams in handling any type of engineering issues from customers and drive quick resolutions to issues to avoid damage to projects plans
  • Escalate key concerns on future and on- going projects and options for resolution to senior management
  • Monitor product quality performance in the market, and report it regularly to the internal team and customers
  • Capture defective LCD/ pOLED module from customer and perform on-site testing
  • Collaborate with internal teams for failure analysis to find root cause and corrective actions
  • Prepare failure analysis (FA) or engineering reports and provide them to customers
  • Provide solutions and counter plans to customers when any design or quality issues happen
  • Negotiate claims due to issues with customers
  • Conduct a communications channel between internal teams and customers
  • Arrange and prepare business meetings with local customers for product quality and development
  • Provide information and technical support to local customer
  • Conduct sales responsibilities as needed
  • Comply with the companys policy and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional working experience (5+ years of experience in engineering)
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Masters is a major plus)
  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer (This role does not provide visa sponsorship)
  • Travel required: 15%

Preferred:

  • Sales experience preferred (3+ years)
  • Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
