Business Center Manager



Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment, labor and productivity planning, supplier coordination and customer obsession.

Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure the safe and efficient sortation of packages through the facility, minimizing operational cost through effective planning of throughput and resource utilization.

Analyzes operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports and collaboration with others. Determines opportunities for improvement of key metrics and executes action plans to achieve results.

Leads daily employee and/or planning meetings to ensure workforce communication and understanding of operational updates and daily goals.

Participates in the development of and responsible for administering company safety strategies and programs.

All other duties as assigned by VP

Experience Requirements:

Managed Final Mile Operations

Labor Management experience

Multiple site management

4+ years experience in related field

Demonstrate ability to manage and grow business

Demonstrate ability to manage and lead people

Demonstrate account management ability

Ability to manage in a multitask role

Working understanding of a transactional or dedicated transportation model

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills

Demonstrate proficiency composing written communication, proofreading and editing

Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail-oriented

Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment, time management and problem-solving skills

Working Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
