Service Desk Associate - Tier 2
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce client in San Antonio area is looking for a Service Desk Level 2 associate to add to their team in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:- In this role, the Service Desk Associate develops a basic understanding of key business processes of partners and customers
- Develops a basic understanding of hardware, software, networking, and other related technologies
- The Service Desk Associate responds appropriately to, evaluates, and prioritizes requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and/or other computer related technologies
- Works with users to collect problem information and perform basic diagnostic procedures to determine source of error
- Attempts to resolve IT related issues
- As a Service Desk Associate, this role performs research and follow-up for routine business problems, referring more complex issues to internal specialists and service providers as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of experience in a service desk or support environment
- Superior communication written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Exceptional customer service attitude
- Excellent ability to multi-task
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
