Our client is a leader in the Semiconductor marketplace, successfully developing automation equipment requiring a seamless integration of Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Controls and Software engineering. They are looking for an enthusiastic electrical engineer to join their team.



Responsibilities:

• Working with a team to qualify new circuit board designs for system and robot controllers, developing Design Validation Test (DVT) plans, executing on the plans, and presenting results.


• New circuit board designs to be qualified may include Ethernet & EtherCat, Microcontrollers, FPGA, UART, SPI, I2C, Flash memory, DC/DC Power Supplies but, not limit to the include only.


• Design qualification will involve bench testing, testing in a robot, and testing at an overall system level.


• Learning operation of robots and the systems that they go into.

Qualifications:

• BSEE with 5 years of experience.


• Familiarity with Python and Verilog programming is a plus.


• Experience with reading schematic databases to read I/O ports, power connections and communication ports for hookups and troubleshooting. (Client uses Altium database)


• Experience with AutoCAD 2D Light is a plus


• Responsible for ensuring proper documentation, consistent use of processes and systems, and engineering design standards are followed.


• Must be capable of working collaboratively with mechanical and software engineers on complete product solutions.
