Digital Marketing Specialist



Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist position is responsible for developing email campaigns to support outreach efforts, as well as managing and supporting SEO and SEM strategies to support inbound digital efforts. This individual will contribute to the execution and optimization of ABC Medical’s (ABC) advertising strategy to drive growth and retention. This role will also own the social media accounts and community engagement strategy for ABC. Furthermore, this position requires the ability to make decisions based on best practices and research. The candidate must be self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously on tasks, while also working through projects with the team. This job also requires an ability to work with ambiguity and transition through different tasks as business priorities change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned.

  • Manage HubSpot, including the creation of workflows, email, website pages, landing pages, forms, follow-up emails, social media, external newsletter, and blog publishing
  • Analyze, interpret, and report on the performance of all digital marketing activity (emails, landing pages, leads, campaigns) by analyzing existing data as well as historical trends to provide actionable recommendations and deliver continuous improvements
  • Build, schedule, and optimize marketing automation with HubSpot workflows and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
  • Basic website updates and modifications through HubSpot CMS
  • Maintain brand alignment and consistency in all digital and social media marketing initiatives and communications
  • Stay current with the digital marketing landscape; research and communicate best practices, industry trends, and HubSpot platform updates
  • Contribute to the creation, launch, and reporting of all ad campaigns
  • Report on ad campaign performance and make recommendations on how to better use paid ads to reach team goals
  • Own ABC’s social media accounts—creating a calendar of posts/content, engaging with our online communities, and using them to fuel activity and conversation around our brand and product
  • Work with the ABC’s designer or Design Agency to provide feedback on ad creative and optimize visuals for better campaign results
  • Develop insightful HubSpot dashboards, reports, and processes to continuously monitor paid search/PPC initiatives and e-mail campaigns
  • Research existing content performance, identify potential content ideas based on user search data and intent and optimize existing content around target keywords
  • Become an expert of on-page SEO concepts and able to analyze data to figure out new ways to further optimize our websites
  • Proactively promote projects and escalate issues
  • Communicate project status and updates
  • Provide support to other areas of marketing as needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience delivering results through digital consumer marketing and email automation
  • Prior experience with HubSpot preferred. In general, you embrace technology and are familiar with best-in-class marketing platforms and processes that enable scale, e.g. Marketing Automation Systems, Google Analytics, social media ad platforms, and Google Ads
  • Familiarity with general organic social media principles
  • You’ve run and learned from A/B tests to improve results over time
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Quick learner with a passion for technology, software, and data
  • Creative problem solver
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for bringing forth new ideas and process improvements
  • High degree of personal accountability, diligence, and proactivity
