Arrow Electronics is currently seeking a Sr Product Manager to work in our SiliconExpert subsidiary.

As a Sr Product Manager, reporting to the Director of Product, it will be your responsibility to serve as the expert for SiliconExpert's greenfield development products. You'll have a strong technical background to identify and solve problems whilst supporting and driving Engineers and Designers to execute the roadmap in-line with company goals and objectives. You will wear many hats from being an Agile enthusiast to a technical Product Owner to leading the Go-To-Market for new products.

The successful candidate should be able to work well across engineering teams to launch products that delight customers!

What You'd Be Doing
  • Define and execute a business and product strategy for your specific product.
  • Define and evangelize key use cases which drive product adoption and understanding, in addition to product evolution to meet the needs of component engineers and supply chain professionals.
  • Develop core positioning, value propositions benefit statements, product and marketing messages for SiliconExpert offerings. Work closely with the marketing and sales team to ensure proper marketing material for clients, partners and field sales organizations are available to best articulate value and return on investment for clients.
  • Drive a cross functional matrixed team of marketing, sales, services, engineering, support and pricing representatives to ensure business and product strategy execution is tightly coordinated to support SiliconExpert offerings.
  • Subject matter expert and spokesperson to internal audiences such as sales and services teams and external audiences such as customers, partners, analysts and press. This includes defining market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success.
  • Collect, document, prioritize and manage enhancement requests from internal and external sources
  • Participate in the release planning and scoping processes that determine the product roadmap
  • Author detailed product requirements and develop use case documentation
  • Participate in UI/UX design sessions
  • Provide feedback to development and QA team on requirements clarification
  • Review QA test scripts and interface with QA team to ensure all product features are accurately tested
  • Establish and run user focus groups and beta testing programs
  • Maintain updated product and system documentation as changes are made along the development cycle
  • Complete other tasks, such as services management, partner integration, client relationship management, competitive analysis and team building exercises as necessary
  • Lead the Go-To-Market of new feature and product launches


What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience working with software products and/or programs, particularly in requirements definition, documentation and product or project management.
  • Excellent documentation skills in authoring product requirements and use cases for software development
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical details regarding web application development and deployment
  • Background in high-tech or a related field, with an understanding of industry principles
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
  • Highly professional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding troubleshooting capability for ferreting out issues and driving resolution
  • Proven ability to take the lead in assigned responsibilities with light supervision
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and negotiating prioritizations
  • Comfortable working within a small, dynamic company environment
  • A passion for empowering Agile teams to achieve their goals and enjoy their unified sense of accomplishment
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to moderate and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning's, and retrospectives
  • Effectively promote transformation of norms and positive relationships in line with organizational goals
  • Conflict resolution and team formation skills
  • Demonstrated self-management and personal accountability
  • An ability to tell an exceptional story through the lens of a user or stakeholder through your design choices and one that encourages empathy.
  • Successful experience working in a product organization that has supported an industry recognized product management methodology and framework.
  • Competency applying one or more product prioritization frameworks, choosing the right framework for the right situation in our product lifecycle.
  • Experience partnering with product designers, interaction designers and UX researchers to bring a more informed and comprehensive product to market.
  • History of working on product roadmaps and product release plans.
  • Independent opinion and ready to engage in a discussion about the attributes of a good product manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 7+ years' relevant experience in a comparable software development environment
  • 5+ years' as a product manager, demonstrating increasingly complex successful product launches
  • Solid working knowledge of scrum and other Agile development methodologies including Kanban, Lean, and FDD
  • Experience working with virtual teams.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Institute's Product Management Certification, Agile Certified Product Manager Credentials (CPM)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) or Certified Scrum Trainer (CST)
  • Previous experience as an Agile team member in a non-Scrum Master capacity
  • Atlassian software development tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$108,100.00 - $163,350.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
