Marketing Manager

We are seeking an exceptional well-rounded Marketing Manager to lead the company’s digital and email marketing strategies. Reporting to the Head of Product Strategy and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing novel digital strategies, overseeing the company’s website, spearheading third party content distribution programs, and tracking the impact of digital initiatives. This is a great role for someone eager to own a multitude of key marketing responsibilities and play a pivotal role in our marketing strategy. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing our marketing strategy, proactively identifying opportunities to both attract leads online and convert them effectively through a company website.
This person will also work closely with sales to support marketing operations (e.g, optimizing lead flow processes, reporting on results). The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and creative. He or she is adept at both crafting long-term strategy and executing day-to-day tasks across multiple projects.
- Establish strategic messaging and branding to support business growth objectives, including devising and executing a go to market strategy for financial services.
- Create & manage digital content (such as press releases, blogs, social media, video, imagery, interactive content, whitepapers, on-demand webinars) to drive engagement with our target audiences
- Design and implement integrated marketing programs and collaborate with the overseas team to ensure delivery of the global marketing plan
- Prepare marketing processes and CRM strategy
- Administrate and maintain our online presence including website content
- Constantly monitor the success of marketing activities and create meaningful quantitative reports for management
- Establish & maintain marketing campaigns (email, paid search, etc)
- Plan & execute global promotions including trade-shows
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of digital marketing experience
- A good understanding of the energy and commodities or financial industry is a plus
- Solid experience with marketing automation software (Zoho preferred) & CRMs
- Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Proven track record in enterprise B2B marketing, preferably within SaaS
- Proactive, organized, curious, entrepreneurial problem solver with a “can-do” attitude and a test-and-learn mentality
- Any Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills, knowledge in the event and experiential marketing industry and examples of copy for B2B brands/organizations
- Experience in email, social especially LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite, web, SEO, content marketing and paid advertising
- Experience with UX strategy and on-page SEO
- Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimization, including running a/b tests
- Advanced level in Powerpoint and Excel
Preferred:
- Basic understanding of energy and commodities or financial services markets
- Familiarity with enterprise B2B SaaS
- International experience, fluency in other languages is a plus
Position is based in the Greater Boston area. Some travel required.
