Responsibilities PeopleTec is seeking a Systems Integration Lab (SIL) Engineer for an opportunity to support our Huntsville, AL location. PeopleTec is currently seeking Systems Engineer with a SIL background to support our Huntsville, AL location. Our team is looking for an exceptionally motivated self-starter with a deep background in SIL development & integration . The candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership to our growing team of test, modeling & simulation, and digital engineering professionals who design, implement, test, and deploy a distributed test collaboration environment for Army modernization programs, integrating syndicated SILs and test capabilities. Candidate needs to have familiarity with modular open systems architectures (MOSA) & digital engineering. The ideal candidate will: * Provide Systems Integration design, development, integration, and analytic support of existing and new environments * Review, evaluate, and edit Systems Integration specifications, development plans, designs, and technical data packages * Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate SIL integration and understand capabilities Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : * Demonstrated knowledge and application of Systems Integration to system development and requirements analysis * 5+ years of experience in Systems Integration development/execution for major defense acquisition program office or OEM * Familiarity with digital engineering, MBSE, and MOSA * Ability to multitask in a high paced environment * Ability to develop solutions for complex and sometimes ill-defined problems * Experience preparing briefings and documentation * Travel: up to 10% * Must be a U.S. Citizen * An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : * Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM degree Physical Job Requirements : * Maintain physical presence in office (corporate/customer site). Virtual work is authorized on occasion. Desired Skills : * Experience working on and developing prototype solutions/processes * Prior software language experience with at least one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, QT, Infragistics, Docker, and Python * Experience developing or integrating physics-based models in simulation frameworks * Technical oversight of Systems Integration for major weapon systems development * Relevant experience with DoD/Army Test & Evaluation, Army Aviation, and/or similar project office * Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM degree * Background with tool development spanning all phases of test with an emphasis on integration of AI/ML to existing and new DT tools Projected Timeframe to Employee : next 60 days Overview People First.
