We are looking for a candidate that is looking for an opportunity to oversee and provide exceptional care to adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. The candidate must be a good communicator, highly organized and work well unsupervised. This position is responsible for doing supervisory visits every 30 days, new admits, and in office work signing skilled documentation.

The Supervisory RN will be working closely with persons served and direct support professionals to ensure the best possible health services in their community.

A typical day for a Supervisory Registered Nurse includes:
Supervising skilled nursing cases.
Completing assessments.
Managing medical charts.
Communicating with community doctors/pharmacists.
Giving appropriate medical/nursing directions by responding to all calls, emails, and messages.
Assisting with other duties as needed and as assigned by the Branch Manager.
In order to be eligible for this role, you should have:
- Current state of Alabama RN license
- A minimum of 3 years of RN experience
- A current CPR certification
- A current TB screening
- A valid driver's license
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to outlying areas
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work day shifts
- Availability to be On-Call
- Adequate computer skills and the ability to document information electronically on a tablet device
- Ability to function independently in a home setting
- Recognition of the needs and concerns of others, and the ability to build relationships with others from different backgrounds
