Ranch House Restaurant at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch
Position Title: Restaurant Server
Position Summary: Responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for resort guests.
Responsible for coordinating and communicating with front and back-of-the house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations. Processes guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner. Observes diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, responds to additional requests, and determines when the meal has been completed. Totals bills and accepts payment. Clearing and resetting of tables. Stock and organize supplies. Food preparation of such items as salads and desserts. Complete daily responsibilities such as closing out registers, stocking and cleaning duties.
Job Requirements
- Exhibit punctuality, reliability, a great attitude and professionalism.
- Greet and seat guests, take and deliver orders in a timely manner.
- Potentially serve alcoholic beverages.
- Provide exceptional customer service for the duration of their experience.
- Attention to detail, customer needs, supply stock and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Ability and willingness to learn computer systems.
- Stock, maintain, and clean working areas as needed.
Prerequisites
Education:
High School diploma, equivalent or education in progress. Ability to communicate effectively in English, being multilingual is a plus.
Experience: Some customer service training. Must have basic math skills and the ability to handle payment processing.
Physical: Must be able to stand and excel in a fast-paced environment for the entire shift and be able to lift up to 20 pounds (food, dishes, trash, etc).
Dress Code – All clothing should be clean and free from holes or stains. Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch t-shirt and attire specified by management. Shoes must be closed toed and appropriate for long periods of standing.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $9.30 - $12.43/hour.
