This position will also back up and support the Sales Managers & Director as needed. This position is remote optional and will require occasional travel.
What You'll Do:
- Set up and maintain Retailer/Customer internal specific paperwork (new item, new customer) forms for Lakeside Foods, Inc.
- Set up and maintain Supplier specific paperwork as needed for individual customers.
- Work with and utilize customer specific "Portal" entries as needed.
- Creation & updating of customer specific data as needed for Lakeside Foods, Inc. and customers.
- Review sales deductions and ensure proper agreements are in place to facilitate resolution between the customer and finance.
- Maintain good customer relationships at key accounts to resolve issues in coordination with the account manager.
- Provide necessary data to managers and internal groups within JTM Foods Group such as forecasting and operations group as awards, orders, usage change.
- Evaluate current sales and internal systems to find improvements and make recommendations to create efficiencies.
- Consult with account managers on ways to support/enhance key accounts processes and procedures.
- Develop & maintain Weekly/Monthly reports as needed, as well as provide training to sales team as needed on internal programs & software.
- Support, scheduling and follow up with Customer Service orders/issues. Customer communication & follow up as well.
- Other assigned projects as needed.
- Work with warehouses and logistics to provide all customer instructions and coordinate shipments to meet customer expectations.
- Operate as if an owner of an independent business unit within JTM Foods Group
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Four year college degree; BBA preferred.
- Five or more years of sales or project coordination experience.
- Strong sense of ownership to achieve goals.
- Having knowledge, proficiency or the ability to learn GS1 standards for product data within GDSN data bases and portals used by retailers.
- Having knowledge, proficiency or the ability to learn SAP and SAC Sales Reporting tools preferred, but not required.
- Must be proficient in Excel and have excellent math, analytical skills.
- Must be proficient in Word and have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with other departments, strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
- The ability to create and enhance a positive, productive team environment with a genuine passion for the customer.
Skills:
- Creative problem solver, who can work to streamline processes and improve administrative tasks/forms.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with JTM Foods Group and branded customers.
- Analytical ability to handle routine, administrative details including budget tracking, sales and customer requests and internal projects.
Abilities:
- Ability to understand information from multiple sources, analyze data, develop charts and summary reports and derive key insights.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. As well as read and follow instructions.
- Ability to collect information from reports, records, or other available sources, establish the accuracy of the information, and summarize the information.
- Ability to work in a fluid, ever-changing environment where you are required to tackle new challenges as they arise.
