Job Description
Rapidly growing consulting firm in Raleigh, NC is looking to add an M &A Insurance Consultant to their team. You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients. possibility of future remote work being authorized *Fulltime*
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
- Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Expand business reach through networking techniques
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations
- Track and identify areas of improvement
- Requires equal aptitude and enthusiasm executing critical operational as well as sales functions
- Complex analysis of and in-depth understanding of insurance client functional business and financial data that enable a valuation of client’s business to be executed
- Collaborate with project team members to include other data analysts and technical/database leads providing insights into data issues driving client valuation.
- Prepare financial reports regarding valuation pursuant to strategic partners’ demands/requirements.
- Perform client-specific tasks from time to time as the team requires
- Prepare rigorous financial analyses and financial models on Excel based spreadsheets.
- Perform sales activity including but not limited to calling potential clients and buyers and tracking said activity.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Contribute to data visualizations and reporting and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Direct and oversee complex issue resolution in a cross-team environment.
Understand insurance agency industry and data management processes to include business and transformation rules and data consuming systems
Great interpersonal communication skills and understanding.
Must be able to thrive in a very flexible, changing and dynamic environment.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance or a related technical discipline is preferred. Technologies: SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Office, Excel
Minimum Years relevant experience – 3 Years insurance agency industry experience is preferred and is a big plus, but not required. M & A Insurance experience is also preferred and is a big plus, but not required.
