Lead Content Strategist
Job Description
Purpose:
The purpose of an intranet content strategist ('Senior Content Strategist ") is to develop strategies and tactics for creating, organizing, designing, and developing processes and tools that enable effective communication of organizational content to all its internal stakeholders.
Help organize IT content, help create an information architecture of our organizational content
Looking for someone who can first help organize IT content and then we will expand to all of WebWISE content.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Develop content strategy and coordinate design utilizing collaborative needs assessment and analysis to achieve strategic Institute & departmental goals.
- Produce, update and maintain website content to ensure alignment with institute/department communication & collaboration goals.
- Serve as subject matter expert and advise unit personnel in areas related to communication content.
- Define strategy for content creation and management to strengthen strategic Institute and departmental goals.
- Coordinate, compile and/or create digital content to achieve strategic Institute and departmental communications & collaboration goals.
- Performing research to gain in-depth knowledge of all customer personas.
- Performing research and analysis on consumer needs.
- Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Proven content strategy and project management experience.
- Sound knowledge of content management systems like Drupal or Atlassian Confluence. (nice to have)
- Strong content presentation & communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- 5 years of experience
