The Challenge:

As a cloud architect, you know how to build a cloud based te chn ical architecture that meets c us tomer needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could us e your cloud architecture skills to deliver mission critical data to the warfighter? We need you to lead our team as we develop cloud-based solutions to some of the DoD's toughest challenges. As a lead cloud architect on our team, you'll design a secure, cloud-based text analytics platform to support mission critical operations. You'll guide your team as they research the current environment and recommend tools and capabilities from vario us on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources. You'll share expertise with your team through leadership and mentoring, as they help the c us tomer overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you work with migration teams to develop and re-platform existing capabilities and build new ones throughout the cloud migration process. You'll be able to sharpen your skills in automation, cloud-based security, native cloud services, and more, while developing critical systems for the DoD and IC. As a te chn ical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to help your c us tomers meet their evolving needs. You Have: * Experience with one or more of the following cloud service providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP * Knowledge of Hadoop based Big Data te chn ologies, including Accumulo or SOLR * Ability to provide te chn ical mentorship and leadership to junior developers while also providing hands-on support to the migration * Top Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: * Experience with configuration management frameworks, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Saltstack * Experience with Kubernetes and Docker * Experience with Terraform and Cloud Formation * TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred * Security+, AWS, Azure, or GCP Certifications Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
