Job Description:
The Vice President of IT, GDSO will be a critical part of the Information Technology group, reporting to the Chief Information Officer. The Vice President of Business IT for GDSO is a strategic business partner to Global's Gasoline Distribution and Retail Operations team. The Business IT leader for GDSO owns the development of the technology strategy for GDSO and ensures that business value results are derived from the IT organization. The Business IT leader acts as the bridge from GDSO business leadership to the IT Organization. They are responsible for stimulating, surfacing, and shaping demand for IT capabilities and assets and ensuring that the potential business value from those capabilities and assets are captured, optimized, and recognized. The Business IT leader for GDSO is a tireless advocate for the business within the IT Organization and is charged with driving technology related decisions through their function with alignment and partnership with the leadership within GDSO. Primary technology focus in our GDSO operation centers around Point of Sale, including many service styles including self-checkout and mobile, kitchen management operations, PDI Enterprise Management solutions among other solutions that support analytics and pricing.

- Budget development and rationalization for multi-year technology roadmap
- Capital

- Development of high-level technology business requirements that represent the business and operational need for the technology or solution. These requirements will then be socialized within the IT Organization functions and translated into technical requirements.
- Develop demand plan for IT Organization functions. Develop roadmap for need for new and upgraded technologies. Collaborate with PMO, Architecture/Engineering and Operations teams to insure alignment of solutions and resources.
- Support business development opportunities
- Strategically assess the opportunity with business leaders

- Evaluate and identify joint technology initiatives across business lines to insure optimization and standardization of the effort.
- Drive Innovation and challenge the business and the IT Organization to identify opportunities that contribute to business results and Global Partners competitive brand.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 or more years of IT and business/industry work experience
- Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
- Requires exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
