This job provides comprehensive management of one or more departments within Clinic IS; operates certain responsibility area(s) of Clinic IS Division; works with business and clinical management to meet strategic and operational objectives through the effective application of information technology; provides day-to-day direction to teams in support of the company's strategic initiatives; delivers tactical initiatives; ensures that IS projects are appropriately prioritized and addressed, assists users in defining and documenting informational needs and requirements; provides support to CIO in all areas of administration, including manpower, operating, capital budgeting, expense management and special projects; actively participates and contributes to the development of IS planning activities including strategic, tactical, and operational.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred - Master's degree

Work Experience
Required - 10 years information technology experience in a management role.

Job Duties
  • Provides general management direction to application development efforts of Department(s)
  • Builds an engaged workforce through leadership, talent development and collaborative employee relationships
  • Oversees research, education & training to support cutting edge patient care and services
  • Participates in planning and implementation phases of all major projects
  • Develops and achieves long-term strategic business plans through effective relationship building, communication, and planning
  • Oversees the physical & technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes
