Pricing Analysis Specialist

As a Pricing Analysis Specialist, with a highly operational, system & process driven and problem-solving focus you will have a direct impact on the company's revenue and profitability.
In your new role you will:
Distribution Pricing Management

• Assume pricing ownership of regional distribution business
• Utilize knowledge of product value and market trends, balancing the interests of Infineon with the requirements of customers to create winning profitable outcomes in a variety of scenarios
• Collect, synthesize, and communicate fact-based insights to drive strategies and decision making for Regional Marketing teams

Interface to Distributors and Rep

• Provide excellent customer service for all pricing or quoting topics from our Distribution Partners in North and South America
• Provide support to internal teams in all quoting related matters
• Support external sales rep questions

Validating and distributing of regional Disti Price Book

• Issue the quarterly Distribution Price List and ensure all information is error free and fulfills the needs of the customers
• The Price List is a main source of information for Distributors about Infineon products.
• Price List quality is therefore an ongoing concern of us and our Distributors.

Reporting Champion

• Be responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of Pricing & Quoting Standard Reports
• Support preparation of reports, design of new pricing related reports and evaluation of new reporting tools (e.g. in Business Objects or Tableau)
• Provide analysis on existing reporting data on request

Manage and administrate the Volume Purchase Agreement (VPA) process

• Track VPA process and ensure VPAs are processed in a timely manner by the relevant Pricing Specialists.
• Ensure data preparation and handling within the VPA process in alignment with the responsible Pricing Specialists.
• Ensure complaint finalization of VPAs and consequent freeze of respective savings for further reporting
• Ensure compliant implementation of any maintenance requests (e.g price changes or product additions) in finalized VPAs
• Handling & maintenance of Ship & Debit VPA

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering related fields, including but not limited to Business Administration, Business Engineering, Finance, Economics, and Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in pricing, marketing or similar functions in the tech industry is highly preferred
• Basic understanding of the Sales and/or Distribution side of business - ideally with knowledge of pricing and/or quotes; experience within the B2B area is considered a plus
• Proven skills in data analytics
• Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and very good with numbers
• Proactive personality with a sense of urgency and attention to detail at all times
• Service minded
• Proven experience as a strong team player and self-starter
• The ability to be a quick learner and have a high level of curiosity
• Ability to work independently and to structure own work
• Fluency in English with stellar written communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS-Office (especially Excel); experienced in Business Objects; knowledge of SAP CRM and analytical tools is highly preferred
