Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and maintains ERP daily to manage production schedule
- Manage purchase order process including creating PO's and updating vendors and suppliers accordingly
- Schedules work orders for production to ensure demands are met
- Responsible for managing both internal and external relationships ensuring accuracy of deliveries
- Coordinate schedule and materials needed for outsourcing projects.
- Responsible for material costs calculations and budgets
- Responsible for forecasting and planning designated commodities
- Partner with other Planners, Customer Service Representatives, and SCM to establish and maintain vendor relationships
- Serve as key player in RFQs for parts, material, and process changes
- Manage material flow and monitor production schedule ensuring efficiency and timelines are met
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment (ie: purchasing, planning, or scheduling)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering disciplines preferred
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Skilled in JD Edwards or other ERP systems
- Experience in paper or printing industry is a plus
