International Tax Manager - Hybrid
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a world class financial services firm is seeking to hire an International Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager in NYC, NY. The role will be 3 days in the office & 2 days remote.Summary:
The International Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager is responsible for reviewing financial and tax information and managing tax processes for int'l entities for both U.S. tax reporting and compliance. The individual will oversee all aspects of tax reporting functions under U.S. GAAP related to various foreign jurisdictions as well as ensure accurate filing of the international sections of the tax return. Responsibilities:
- An International Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager will review quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions for foreign subsidiaries, including the application of FIN 48, cash taxes, and deferred tax analytics needed to ensure accurate SEC reporting
- Manage preparation of quarterly and annual estimates of Subpart F, E&P, foreign tax pools, GILTI, BEAT calculations in support of the tax provision, and cash tax forecast
- The International Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager will manage US income tax compliance requirements as they relate to foreign operations
- Perform international tax technical research and prepare appropriate memorandums or other documentation for issues researched, including memorandums to support U.S. tax filing positions
- An International Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager will monitor and analyze tax legislation and inform management of the impact from a tax compliance and provision perspective
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree in Tax strongly preferred
- CPA designation needed
- 4+ years of experience in international Tax Compliance & provisions either within public accounting or large corporation
- Solid understanding of Subpart F, Foreign Tax Credit mechanisms, Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118 as well as check-the-box tax implications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and technical tax research skills
- Experience in both partnership and corporate tax preferred
- Experience with OneSource and Oracle a plus
