Customer Service/Parts Expediter



Job Description

The Customer Service Parts Representative will be responsible for working directly with customers by phone and internet and will be key to helping customers identify parts required to maintain the EMS Supplied Systems. This position interacts closely with personnel in Sales, Operations, Field Service, Material Control, Accounting, Technical Support Services, and In-House Manufacturing.

• You will be responsible for a variety of daily activities including providing parts quotes, entering orders, conducting research to identify machine components, coordinating support calls with our technical team of engineers, and making outbound phone calls to maintain healthy relationships with our customers.

• Serve as the company’s primary point of contact for incoming customer phone calls and e-mails related to parts sales.

• Generate quotes, enter orders and work with the technical support team to answer customer questions in a timely manner

• Be a customer advocate as it relates to order delivery requirements and provide status updates on our progress

• Handle moderately heavy objects (20-50 pounds) - Help as required in shipping

• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling of boxes, as well as frequent movement (walking) throughout the warehouse

• Make use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quick Books as required.

• Self-managing and ability to execute sales strategies
• Creative thinker and eager learner
• Detailed oriented, technically adept and computer proficiency, i.e. experience with MS Office Products, CRM packages, AutoCAD viewer, etc
