Experienced Barista

We are a team who care and work hard each day to create meaningful and delicious experiences for our guests! DERU Market is a chef owned neighborhood eatery in Kirkland. We are passionate about cooking from scratch with amazing local and organic ingredients along with providing an excellent beverage experience for our guests!

We are looking for a perfect candidate to fill an opening for a full-time or part-time experienced barista position at DERU! We will be serving in both a Takeaway and a Dine-In environment. We are excited to meet you!

THE ROLE:

• Crafting and presenting drinks skillfully and enthusiastically to our guests
• Dedicated to continuous product knowledge regarding food & beverage
• Successful completion of bar opening and closing with attention to detail
• Assists the restaurant manager with the training of new baristas
• Flexibility to work in both a restaurant and takeaway environment
• Flexibility to work other stations given the needs of service
• Responsible for the overall success of the bar

• 2 - 4 yrs of barista experience
• Bartending experience is a plus

• Ability to manage time well, prioritize and multitask with ease
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to work on your feet and lift heavy loads
