Manager Revenue Recognition
In 2001, we set out to revolutionize the prescribing process. Today, our industry-leading solutions do much more than that: Our network supports 2 million healthcare professionals, over 99% of the patient population, and billions of transactions. Our solutions offer simpler, trusted health intelligence sharing at critical points of care for better decisions-from streamlining prior authorizations to delivering comprehensive medication histories to facilitating direct messages between providers.
Our services are at the heart of the healthcare industry, serving doctors, nurses and pharmacists; health systems, independent practices and pharmacies; health plans, pharmacy benefit managers and electronic health record vendors.
We're a company full of smart, driven, genuine people all working together to make healthcare better for all. Join us.
What You're Like
You love data. You love working with numbers but can also articulate their meaning. And you want to compete in a challenging marketplace to deliver solutions that make a positive impact on healthcare.
What We're Like
We're organized and analytical. (Then again, we work in finance, so you might expect that.) But we aren't just bean counters. We're inquisitive and curious. We know how to work cross-functionally to get things done. Most importantly, we know that our work supports our bottom line-and therefore supports our goal of better healthcare for all.
What the Work is Like
In Surescripts Finance, we aren't intimidated by transaction volumes in the billions. We think on our feet as we measure, interpret and report the company's progress, and after we study both past and present trends, we use what we learn to shape our future.
Job Summary
The Manager Revenue Recognition will oversee the accounting operations over all aspects of revenue measurement and reporting, including all corresponding balance sheet accounts and processes such as collections. Primary responsibility will be to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate manner by adequately trained and supervised staff. For each of these areas, the Manager Revenue Recognition will play a lead role in daily operations and in both the month-end close and year-end audit activities.
