Mexico Operations Manager - Bulk Liquid Logistics

Andrews Logistics is in search of the right professional to be based in our corporate office in Southlake, TX to help support and grow it’s Mexico tank truck business outbound and inbound nationwide. Andrews Logistics is one of the largest and safest asset based private family owned and operated tank truck carriers in the country with a fleet of over 400 trucks and 850 bulk liquid tank trailers. The right leader will champion and monitoring all Mexico International shipments, tracking and confirming shipments status, customer service, as well as tracking the status of all tank trailers in Mexico service through our real time tracking capabilities. Responsibilities and opportunities will grow with the business as we continue to expand this service offering with more customers as well as our existing customer base. The position will report to the Sr. VP of Operations. The right bilingual candidate will have excellent communication skills, trucking or logistics related experience, as well as integrity, initiative, and work ethic. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma and 5 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Tanker industry experience preferred. Understand equipment utilization and allocation. Knowledge of DOT regulations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Fast-paced transportation terminal environment.

WORK HOURS AND AVAILABILITY:

Designated work location at office or terminal for an average of 45 to 50 hours per week. Must be available and on call while off-duty. Off most weekends but must be available for emergency situations.
