Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing ADON:

• Licensed RN in MA

• Current CPR certification

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in nurse leadership role in a long-term care setting

• Knowledge of Antibiotic Stewardship Program and Infection Control process

• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Responsibilities for Assistant Director of Nursing ADON:

• Provide supervision to Nurse Supervisors

• Promote a safe and high standard of nursing practice

• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs

• Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies

• Evaluate and maintain job performance records of nursing staff

• Establish a positive work environment by providing support to staff, residents, and families

• Perform administrative duties i.e., completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc.

• Responsible for nursing service compliance with all Federal and State regulations
