PDS Defense is seeking a Customer Demand Analyst in St. Louis, MO.
Job Purpose
To perform the order entry process including the translation of customer requirements into detailed order information for the client's St. Louis operation.

This position is a full-time, day shift, on-site position however candidates must be willing to provide "on-call" or as needed support. Services may be needed outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends. Some of this work could be done remotely and some may require an on-site presence.
Job Purpose
To perform the order entry process including the translation of customer requirements into detailed order information for the client's St. Louis operation.
Principal Responsibilities
- Receive, review and input all customer requirements or orders into the Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) system (CINCOM).
- Review comparison data received from the customer and analysis received from senior order administrators to identify additions, deletions, accelerations, decelerations and quantity changes to the existing order file.
- Identify delivery and lead-time issues that require the analysis by senior administrators or that require the response of planners, buyers and other operations personnel. Suggest corrective action in support of customer commitments.
- Review customer requirements versus CINCOM orders to assist senior administrators and managers in minimizing costs associated with changes in delivery requirements.
- Interface with other client personnel to assure communication of delivery requirements.
- Verify that parts are ready to ship, perform shipping transactions in CINCOM and generate the required paperwork, including shippers and services (customer next assembly and process orders) to ship the product or hold the order depending on the requirements.
- Develop status reports and charts from system.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance.
- Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements
Additional Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment (shop floor experience)
- Must understand workflow and have strong customer relation skills
- Strong personal computer skills (including word processing and spreadsheets).
- Exposure to scheduling and ERP software
- Must be detail oriented, have a strong work ethic and be able to function with high energy in a pressure-laden environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills
