MIG Welder - 2nd shift

Job Description
Awnings Above, a commercial awning manufacturer located in Duluth, GA is looking for MIG welders. You will be cutting material, cleaning, grinding, polishing, welding, painting, and installing awning products, as necessary. MIG welding experience is highly preferred and will move you up on the candidate list. We are looking for individuals that will show up on time, have a good work ethic, and are willing to take direction and learn. We're currently filling the position for our 2nd Shift on Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Requirements

• A Welding Diploma from a certified program, or equivalent

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on welding experience and certificate. (MIG preferred)

• Valid US driver’s license or ID Card

• Legally eligible to work in the US

• Pass background check and drug testing

• Strong communication skills to work in a team-oriented environment

• Part of the interview will be to perform a welding test to include:

• Aluminum MIG process using Aluma-Pro push pull lead

• Must be able to weld in 1G, 2G & 3G positions

• Corner section of product that includes joints

• Please bring welding protective gear

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20-$21 hour with overtime available! Based on experience

Hours: 2nd Shift on Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
