This full-time, permanent CNC Mazak Mazatrol Machinist career opportunity is at the headquarters of a growing worldwide industry leader. This position is available due to retirement. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Training on first shift for the first one to three months
- Machining on second shift after the one to three month training period is complete
- Interpreting engineering drawings and CNC programs
- Setting up Mazak CNC machines and tooling accurately and efficiently
- Maximizing efficiency by inspecting, deburring, cleaning and skidding while the machine is cycling
- Communicating relevant quantity and quality issues to management
- Training new employees as needed
The successful candidates' backgrounds must include:
- Possess the ability to training on first shift for the first one to three months
- Machining on second shift after the one to three month training period is complete
- Four or more years of CNC machinist experience
- Four or more years of CNC machine setup experience
- Four or more years of reading and editing G & M Code
- Four or more years of experience reading and setting up gages
- Four or more years of experience reading engineering drawings
- A residence within 45 minutes
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
