Primary Responsibilities:
- Compile medical expense and statistical data for a variety of projects such as producing monthly variance analysis reports, medical expense forecasting, identifying medical trends and performing premium and membership trend analysis
- Perform expense cost projections and unpaid claim reserve cost estimates
- Compile various financial reports

- Managing State Specific Medicaid compliance requirements including improvement on current reporting mechanisms and analytics on programs changes, operations, performance improvement projects and other emerging State requests

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Currently on the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
- 1+ years of experience building Actuarial models in SQL (Structured Query Language), SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and/or VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
- Expertise in MS Excel working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in finance or the health care industry
- A basic level of proficiency with MS Access
- Experience in coding (SQL, SAS and/or VBA)

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
