The Team
We are a growing team working with some of the biggest Aerospace companies in the world. Our projects range in size, scope and application from proof of concepts, to execution of major equipment changes, to sustainable life-cycle maintenance. You and your team-mates will oversee, manage and lead projects with some of the most cutting-edge technologies in the industry.
The Role
The Project Managers role, serves as a key position within the organization and project team to ensure success in regards to our customers projects; serving as a hub for communications and information to both Quest, and its customer base. In short, as a Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a projects organization and timeline. The role requires high levels of skill and experience in the realm of project management and customer service backgrounds. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of multiple engineering projects, across a diverse customer base in the Aerospace industry. There are often technical and administrative hurdles and delays that could arise with such projects, and the Project Manager is expected to make quick decisions overcome those barriers to keep all projects on track, and at high customer satisfaction. It is in this manner that the Project Manager will manage project cost, and schedule of customer tasks and deliverables. You will have regular and frequent communication with the execution team both internally and customer facing. You will be expected to manage the customer communication and represent Quest in the best way to ensure a continued positive relationship. At times, you will use your experience to assist in building cohesive project teams to ensure a great teamwork environment, continuous skill building, and outstanding deliverable quality.

Job Functions
Successful administration of Project Delivery framework, as updated from time to time
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Oversee, enable, and report Critical Project health status on a weekly basis
Timely reporting/mitigation of critical project issues
Estimation of, and resourcing planning for, new projects that are open for bid
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility ({apply below} that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Maintain CSAT at or above company set goals
Support and Facilitate External Audit & Certification needs & requirements
Ensure Functional Maturity Audit requirements are met
Active role in Integration of Acquired Organizations, if required
Support Campaigns/Large bid activities
Collaborate and innovate with a team of mixed capability Quest engineers by proactively engaging team members and developing processes, tools and best practices.
Communicate both orally and in writing to internal and external customers; strong verbal, written and presentation skills are necessary.
Interact with a number of different customers on many different levels and locations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience and either a Business Administration BS degree or higher, or equivalent experience with direct involvement in a team-based execution model. This is a senior engineering position within the project management/project engineering discipline.
Extensive prior experience in project management including planning, finances, tracking, and reporting
CAPM, PMP, or Agile certifications a plus
Knowledge of, and experience with, project management software
High levels of experience with time, resource, stakeholder, and risk management
Impeccable written and oral communication skills
Demonstration of leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage the customers perceptions and showcase Quests achievements
Ability to identify and define unclear work scope and provide recommendations for scope direction
Proficiency with MS-Office Suite and creation of PowerPoint documents
US Citizenship required
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
