Modis is looking to hire a Systems Administrator, on a direct hire basis. These Systems Administrator will have the opportunity to work for a growing team in the Fintech industry. A brief synopsis of the role’s requirements are listed below:

Implement and manage Azure Active Directory infrastructure

Working knowledge of Office 365 environment Implement and support Microsoft Server 2022 including on prem

Active Directory, including testing and installation of critical updates

Implement and support Ubuntu based systems

Provides technical leadership and support for computing systems and system integrations

Ensures that all phases of patching and support, including installations, firmware upgrades, security and OS patches, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly configured, monitored, tracked, and resolved

Strong operations experience focused on automated deployments of public cloud endpoints and knowledge of integration points, dependencies and the order in which these must be executed

Contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around cloud platforms; executes strategic engineering proof of concepts around cloud platforms

Understanding of cloud infrastructure security and networking, governance, maintaining compliance, create security policies and blueprints, security in layers concepts, key vaults, intrusion protection, risk mitigation and automated security remediation
