Job Description

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a great new competitive sales team member to generate new business by contacting, building rapport, setting appointments, and closing sales with potential customers. Sales is a transference of emotion, so our ideal candidate is someone who is always looking to make a friend first and then solve a problem second! Our goal is to hire someone who will build up strong positive relationships, ensure growth attainment, and increase our firm's reputation with our clients and in our surrounding community.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Foster and cultivate productive relationships in order to build a book of business of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using our free leads generation system, referrals, etc.
  • Evaluate business or individual customers' needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
  • Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles
  • Report the progress of monthly/quarterly goals and quotas to the sales team manager
  • Maintain all personal sales activity records and report sales activities
  • Monitor personal clients with active claims to ensure optimal client satisfaction and retention
  • Achieve agreed-upon customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
  • Constantly upgrade job knowledge and learn about new products and services by attending regularly offered corporate training sessions or utilizing the corporate training library
  • Attend scheduled sales team meetings as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Health & Life Insurance Producer License (preferred) or willingness and ability to obtain a license (company reimbursement offered)
  • BS or higher post-graduate degree or a minimum of 4 years of post-high school professional work experience is required (consideration will be given to candidates who are less than 6 months from completing a degree plan or have less than 4 years of professional work experience but have a proven track record of success in outside sales)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: weekly pay with earned bonuses and the option for commission eligibility upon start
Benefits: major medical, dental, and vision offered to full-time employees after 90 days
Schedule: 40 hours per week, flexible scheduled hours:
Bonus pay, residuals commissions with outstanding 5-year full vesting schedule
