Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking an Engineer (Level III) to support TEAMS-Next Security & CI. Our team is looking for an exceptionally motivated self-starting Engineer with a background in Counterintelligence/Security, preferably in missile defense or a related DoD field. The Engineer will be able to execute extensive engineering / scientific support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and / or processes for complex developmental and operational weapon system programs. The Engineer will be responsible for implementing the system engineering "V" processes across a program's acquisition life cycle. The successful candidate will have, and be able to apply, excellent oral and written communication skills Functional/Task areas covered under this requisition include Acquisition Program Protection. This position is in support of the Missile Defense Agency located at Redstone Arsenal AL. Duties Include: * Execute extensive engineering / scientific support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and / or processes for complex developmental and operational weapon system programs * Implement system engineering "V" processes across a program's acquisition life cycle * Apply oral and written communication skills * Work independently and / or leads sub-teams, applying engineer ing rigor to analyze and resolve problems * Provide daily supervision and direction to support teams * Perform a variety of engineer ing tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems * Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : * 7-12+ years of experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects * Work independently, as a team member, or leading teams / tasks, applying engineering rigor to solve engineering / scientific problems * Systems Security Engineering (SSE) experience in DoD programs * 5+ years of experience coordinating policy/technical issues with outside agencies/OSD level coordination * Travel: Up to 10% * Must be a U.S. Citizen * An active DoD Secret with eligibility for a TS clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : * Bachelors or Master's in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer ing, Mathematics) field. *This position is contingent upon a March 2022 contract award.* Overview People First.
