Civil Project Engineer - Land Development
PROJECT ENGINEER – LAND DEVELOPMENT
Spencer Ogden is representing several different design firms that are looking for 2-10 year Land Development Engineers. These positions are for those looking to step into a role with more responsibility, better compensation, or more flexibility. Ideal candidates will have experience in the design and management of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial land development projects.
Licensure required: E.I.T. or P.E.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Assist in initial design for major phase of projects, production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Responsible for preparation of feasibility studies, master planning and engineering, design of water, sanitary and storm sewer, paving and detention facilities.
• Provide feasible design alternatives and use AutoCAD & Civil 3D to prepare design documents.
• Assists in production of final construction drawings.
• Manage daily operational aspect of project and client interactions.
• Involved in client meetings, municipal meetings, and business development.
• Assist in preparation in project budgets and billings.
• Mentor junior staff, such as E.I.T.’s and CAD Designers/Technicians.
• If needed, conduct site visits, and assist with data collection for projects.
• Ensure effective communication between all other project consultants.
