TTEC's Digital business segment provides customer experience (CX) technology services and platforms to support its clients' customer interaction delivery infrastructure. The segment designs, builds and operates the omnichannel ecosystem in a cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environment, and
fully integrates, orchestrates, manages and administers highly scalable, feature rich CX technology applications. The Position (Data Warehousing Architect)
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide data and analytics products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. DataIQ is a fully cloud-based data analytics platform leveraging Google's Looker and Big Query technologies. It is scalable, flexible and reliable, giving teams end-to-end self-service capabilities to consume data and insights. DataIQ will be foundational in moving TTEC from descriptive to prescriptive analytics and enabling our teams with game changing features, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). It delivers:
- One hub for all TTEC data - system integrations, multi-domain analytics and automation.
- Enterprise-level data analytics, data science and ML solutions.
- Advanced analytics using unstructured data.
- Extreme agility for data ingestion and transformation.
- Trusted, quality-driven data solutions that reduce collection, manipulation and cleansing.
As a Senior Principal, Data Management, you'll be revolutionizing the way people get the insights and build the future DataIQ product.
What you will do
- Lead the data strategy effort to evaluate, acquire, integrate, and consume data assets that drive insights and provide competitive advantage to TTEC.
- Establish data strategy process that is efficient and repeatable with the objective of streamlining the translation of raw data to key metrics for consumption by operations, analytics, and data science teams.
- Streamline the collection and automation of data across channels and develop processes to integrate into dashboards to effectively communicate metrics across key stakeholders.
- Develop and publish key metric dashboards to effectively share insights derived from data ecosystem.
- Institute robust data governance framework including creation of a data dictionary, key controls, and data thresholds.
- Establish a feedback mechanism to identify, prioritize and resolve data related issues.
- Responsible for ensuring a single source of truth to the commercial organization by reviewing and modifying, as necessary, all existing business rules across the data ecosystem.
- Builds collaborative relationships across functions (sales, marketing, information technology, customer experience, and commercial operations) in support of the ongoing operation of the data ecosystem.
As a Senior Principal Data Management for DataIQ, you will help deliver new capabilities and products. You will be a hands-on leader who thrives in defining and building solutions. The role requires strong product management competencies with thought leadership abilities to innovate, and deliver highly scalable, reliable, and sustainable solutions across the enterprise.
- Defines a vision and roadmap and delivers business capabilities through data and technology enablement.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
- Critical thinker who can anticipate roadblocks and proactively address issues before they impact business results.
- Measurement-focused; clear understanding and articulation of business value through qualitative and quantitative product metrics.
- Ensures clear communication of project scopes, timing, prioritization, budgets, resource needs, and progress on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years experience through a combination of full-stack engineering and data management and data warehousing in the BPO industries.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL, OLAP, relational databases, DWHs, and data marts and GCP Big query data.
- 5 years of experience in dashboard design and development (Looker PowerBI, etc.)
- Hands on experience building end to end data batch and real-time ETL data pipes and data models, advanced SQL queries and optimization, technical documentation of processes and code.
- Experience with machine learning technologies and environments, such as big data, hive, TensorFlow, Hadoop, Databricks, Spark
- Strong analytical reasoning abilities, including intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen,and creativity in problem solving. Experience with current methods in analytics and machine learning.
- Advanced communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced agility, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and to influence in a matrixed organization.
- High motivation, strong work-ethic, and positive attitude while working under tight timelines.
Preferred qualifications:
Active Google Cloud Data Engineer Certification and/or Active Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification is preferred
Location
TTEC has offices in Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Englewood, CO; and Minneapolis, MN. Our preference is for our Senior Principal to be based in the greater Denver, Colorado metropolitan area or in other areas where TTEC has offices. We recognize, however, that the ideal candidate may be based anywhere, and we are open to a remote work format for the right candidate.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated starting range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $95,000 - $163,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
