The scope of this role includes: demand planning, global inventory and supply management, new product introduction, at-scale-manufacturing, systems integration, global transportation and logistics, global commodity and component technologies. Your span of leadership responsibilities will include supporting teams deployed in USA, Europe and Asia as well as partnering with stakeholders in hardware design engineering, test and characterization, capacity engineering, network engineering and data center field operations.People from all backgrounds rely on Facebook’s portfolio of applications and services to connect with others and build community. Head of Infrastructure Hardware Supply Chain Responsibilities: * Deep organizational development strategy to find, grow, develop and retain top talent* Build a strong leadership bench with integrated succession planning* Develop an elastic and frictionless global supply chain architecture, footprint and design capable of responding with speed to rapid changes in user demand and hardware supply* Partner with design engineering to develop, test and manufacture highly performant hardware solutions in networking, storage, compute and artificial intelligence* Partner with capacity engineering to design a demand planning engine that can deploy capacity quickly in USA, Europe and Asia* Think critically and seed the organization to think about the scaling challenges that lie ahead* Influence cross-organization partners to anticipate and plan for growth and scaling challenges* Provide thought leadership to the wider infrastructural team in operations expertise and supply chain proficiency* Lead planning for CapEx, OpEx and other relevant operations domains Minimum Qualifications: * B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience* 20+ years of supply chain experience* Proven experience growing, leading and developing a large organization* Track record of leading extraordinary impact in operations* Demonstrated experience thinking strategically and influence the organization to change* Experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans* Proficient communicator in front of large audiences* Experience to quickly adapt in new technologies and environments Facebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
