As Barista, you are responsible for contributing to successful shifts by knowledgeably executing our specialty beverage menu, creating awesome guest experiences, and growing sales while maximizing profit. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dialing in coffee to the best tasting parameters (and tasting those parameters daily)
- Pouring Latte Art in Espresso Beverages
- Making menu items according recipe and quality standards/
- Memorizing menu items and recipes
- Competing opening/closing and mid-shift checklist tasks and side work
- Identify customer needs and make recommendation for new products
- Delivering excellent guest service with a professional demeanor
Qualifications and Expectations:
- 2+ years of coffee experience
- Ability to have effortless conversations, comfort interacting with people
- Strong desire to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Consistently works to improve and grow
- Understands how to keep refrigeration equipment and storage clean and organized
- Possesses working knowledge of specialty coffee and demonstrates desire to grow
