Diesel/Heavy Truck Mechanic

Looking for a heavy truck and/or diesel mechanic that is able to:

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, components, electrical and fuel systems for trucks with various engines. For example, Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, Maxxforce and Paccar
• Complete technician comments in the system in a timely manner for the assigned work and turn in necessary paperwork
• Work as part of a cohesive team within the shop to meet customer needs. This includes assisting, mentoring or sharing knowledge with other technicians in the shop, as appropriate.
• Be respectful of teammates and customers and communicate in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety practices of the organization when completing work assignments.
• Maintain communication with the customers and answer questions related to the work being performed. Make recommendations for additional work that needs to be completed.
• Perform tune ups, brake jobs, and other preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
