Job Description:

Position Summary:
This manufacturing position requires the operation of semiconductor processing equipment within a cleanroom environment. In this role, the manufacturing operator is responsible for meeting daily production goals in support of our cleanroom fabrication operations. The areas of concentration include Micro Optics Picking, assembly, inspection, and testing

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate computer-based assembly equipment to assemble optical subsystem to meet production and quality goals in a cleanroom environment.
• Follow Quality management procedures and identify quality issues
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Interface appropriately with team to processing wafers and components
• Conduct preventative maintenance and SPC activities
• Perform other required duties as assigned by their supervisor

The successful candidate must:

o Have strong problem solving skills
o Enjoy working in a fast pace team environment
o Be able to work with limited supervision, is self-directed, and has a methodical approach to solving technical problems and attentive to detail
o Demonstrate strong problem solving skills as related to equipment and manufacturing issues

Qualification and Experience:

• Must be able to perform light lifting and carrying duties
• Must be able to sit and stand for an extended period of time (3-5 hrs)
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with clean room and cleanliness procedures and/ or operation of wafer based manufacturing equipment or similar is preferred

Working Conditions:

Perform duties in a clean room environment, which requires special protective-outer garments to maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
