Software Manager with Security Clearance

In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers for an exciting survivable/ endurable DoD mission. You will responsible for the successful management, project leadership, technical leadership (cost, schedule and technical), and full spectrum leadership for the SBIRS O&M and S2E2 Software Engineering team. Specific Duties Include:
• Supervise a team of software developers whose product directly saves lives of our deployed troops and allies
• Participate in code development while leading a team of about 10 software developers to successfully deliver quality mission software
• Develop Bases of Estimate for the software engineering functional area in support of on-contract growth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Software development experience: Java, C, C++, Unix Scripting, PERL and database interfaces
• Git/ Github Configuration Management experience
• DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Team leadership experience
• Understanding of Earned Value Management
• Experience authoring Proposal Bases of Estimate (BOEs)
• Experience with the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) program or strategic missile warning mission
• Agile and waterfall development processes
• Experience with proposal development and leading proposal teams
• Strong technical foundation with delivering software solutions to mobile (truck based) systems
• Excellent communicator
