Fulltime, entry-level Data Entry Assistant (Research)

We seek an eager data entry master to join our data management team at our Tempe, AZ Phase 1 Clinical Trials clinic. This is a great entry-level opportunity to begin a career in clinical data management. This is a fulltime position, working 40 hours per week with shifts occurring onsite between 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.

Responsible for the data entered into a database. Ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of data entries so that it meets the standards of quality expected for reporting to Sponsors and regulatory bodies. Assists the Data Manager in study specific procedures for External Studies, Celerion Standard, Sponsor Provided Electronic Data Capture (EDC) , Sponsor Provided Paper CRFs.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform accurate data entry and verification for study specific External Studies, Celerion Standard, Spondor Provided EDC, and Sponsor Provided Paper CRFs (if applicable)
  • Work with Clinical Data Manager for External Studies to create a working copy of the completed paper CRFs to ensure accurate and consistent data entry
  • Collate source data and signed disposition pages into final CRFs
  • Archive data management documentation including CRFs
  • Perform standard data management quality control steps



Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years data entry or related experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail required
