Mechanic - Auto, Small Engine, Heavy Equipment
Large landscaping company in Hudson Valley looking for full-time EXPERIENCED Mechanic to diagnose, repair, perform preventative maintenance, service and adjust small engines, gas engines, diesel trucks, heavy equipment, snow equipment, lawn mowers, blowers, chain saws, weed whackers, etc.
Some road service will be required. Must have a clean driver’s license.
Must have own tools. Must be a team player with exceptional organizational skills

Compensation:$75,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience
Responsibilities:- Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history
- Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work
- Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills
- Diagnose, repair, perform preventative maintenance, service and adjust small engines, gas engines, diesel trucks, heavy equipment, snow equipment, lawn mowers, blowers, chain saws, weed whackers, etc.
- Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license needed
- Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification
- Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired
