Sr Integration Engineer
Sr Integration Engineer - ENG001946The Senior Integration Engineer will lead strategic planning efforts for integrations, migrations and testing in support of related deployments within an engineering environment and requires detailed knowledge of the wireless industry in this area. The position is fully responsible for and will define the integration, migration and testing strategy, plan and execution to deploy fully integrated service offerings. To ensure success the position will work with business partners, peer engineering teams and vendors throughout the entire project life cycle.
Leads large technical project teams and may occasionally act as a program lead for programs or as a sub-team lead for enterprise programs when needed. Ensures timely and accurate completion of assigned duties and responsibilities of the team members to meet the project and executive leaderships' expectations. Leads project integration, scope, time, costs and quality and communicates the status, risk and issues associated with each to the correct level(s) within the project structure and the organization to ensure that the project outcomes are achieved as defined, within budget and on time.

- Utilize Engineering Processes to initiate, plan and manage projects.
- Lead the engineering project team in the creation of a comprehensive integration, migration and testing strategy, plan and schedule (along with relevant documentation) that will ensure project success.
- Anticipate risks and issues and facilitates risk mitigation planning and issue resolution, accordingly. Identify, analyze, monitor and respond to risks and issues to achieve project deliverables, on time and on budget. Escalate to the appropriate levels any risks or issues that will prohibit project success.
- Execute project change control to obtain approvals for changes to the project scope, timelines, resource requirements and/or budget.
- Facilitate documentation reviews, ensure revisions are documented and obtain approvals for internal and vendor provided technical documents, testing, acceptance criteria and service level agreements for changes to the production network. Ensure all success criteria are met in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate all network change activities related to the projects in accordance with Change Management processes and procedures.
- Facilitate post project reviews to apply lessons learned and the implementation of best practices and repeatable processes to ensure quality integration and minimize customer impact.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project team members while monitoring team members workload and performance. Provides feedback on individual and team performance to appropriate leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent work or military experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years progressively responsible related work experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience.
- 7+ years of functional experience in wireless/data networking.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent training/experience.
- Highly skilled in technical writing and ability to define, design and implement deployment strategies and technical operational support processes.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Intermediate to extensive experience with MS Office and related tools.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to create an environment that motivates, inspires and respects others.
- Ability to build team cohesiveness to achieve results.
- Highly skilled in organization and planning.
- Ability to self-start and be versatile in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to promote a shared vision and customer focus.
- Demonstrated high level of cost management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or Masters degree in engineering or related disipline.
- Certification(s) in relevant field of expertise.
