Dietary Aide/Food Server - Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation

Sombrillo Nursing & Rehabilitation, an integral part of Los Alamos Retirement Community, is seeking Food Servers to join our Dietary Services team. The Food Server assists the Cook with preparing and serving nutritious, delicious meals for our skilled nursing residents.

Starting rate is $12.50 to $14.00 depending on experience.
We currently are offering a $1,000 new hire bonus for Dietary Aides.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting with meal delivery of guests in the dining room and room service delivery.
• Assist with food and beverage preparation.
• Preparing tables for next seating, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Cleaning meal preparation areas, refrigerators, freezers, storage areas and other areas as assigned.
• Unloading groceries, washing pots and pans, clean tables and dining room.
• Engaging residents with a positive attitude and friendly behavior.
• Ability to focus on the task at hand.
• Professional appearance.
• Exhibiting courteous behavior at all times, regardless of situation and practices good manners.
