Senior DevOps Engineers
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement and automate deployment of software in development, test and production environments.
Specific responsibilities will include the following:
Travel Requirement: 10% Domestic Travel and 5% International Travel Per Year Required.
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
The employer requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunication systems, engineering, or a closely related field and at least four (4) years of progressively more responsible work experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in computer science, telecommunication systems, engineering, or a closely related field, and at least two (2) years of progressively more responsible work experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement and automate deployment of software in development, test and production environments.
Specific responsibilities will include the following:
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, evaluate, modify, deploy and document application, system, and IT infrastructure, with an overall objective to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and availability;
- Review, verify, and validate the software code developed by other DevOps engineers;
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline);
- Partner with Development teams to support new and existing features and functionality;
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code to automate provisioning and update physical infrastructure utilizing frameworks like Terraform and Ansible;
- Troubleshoot issues related to system, network and server performance;
- Engage in performance analysis and capacity planning;
- Manage on-premise environments for access, availability and security;
- Work to automate detection and resolution of recurring issues in the production environment; and
- Provide tier 2/3 support for internal and external customers, including participation in an on-call rotation.

- Demonstrated ability installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux based systems in on-premise and cloud-based environments gained through at least two (2) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge of networking technologies (including OSI network layers and TCP/IP) and troubleshooting network-related issues gained through at least two (2) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability working with Python development and scripting gained through at least (2) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT processes, procedures, and operations for highly available services and infrastructure within a production environment gained through at least two (2) years of work experience; and
- Demonstrated ability working with Docker Containers or Kubernetes Clusters gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
All years of experience and coursework may be gained concurrently.
