Journeyman Machine Repair Technician Job Summary

A growing manufacturer in Grand Rapids is adding Journeymen Machine Repair Technicians to its 2nd shift team. These Machine Repair Technicians will primarily be installing, troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery throughout the plant. Journeyman Machine Repair Technician Requirements

• Install, repair and service machinery
• Troubleshoot production equipment, tearing down and reassembling machines as needed
• Use blueprints, schematics, and technical documents as needed
• Fabricate stands, fixtures and jigs as needed
• Complete basic welding as needed

Schedule: Monday–Friday on 2nd shift + overtime as needed

Pay: $29/hr +$1.35 shift premium

Journeyman Machine Repair Technician Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• Journeyman's card in Machine Repair
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides
• Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds on a frequent basis
