Position Responsibilities:
Build, deploy, and maintain Linux servers and workstations
Develop build scripts and automated procedures for deploying Linux images
Develop and maintain procedures and scripts to respond to security requirements, such as RMF
Maintain Linux repositories for software packaging and patching
Evaluate and effectively communicate complex system problems and resolution
Integrate security solutions into information systems
Administer user system access and establish safeguards to protect information systems
Maintain awareness of and participate in the planning and execution of upgrades and patches for operating systems and COTS software
Architect, install, and administer storage, backup, and network infrastructure needs
Document IT processes and sustain configuration management records
This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Expertise deploying, securing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems (RHEL5/6/7/8)
System administration of complex infrastructure and software development systems
Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, and managing virtual machines
Experience with security and vulnerability scanning tools such as ACAS/Nessus, STIG's, and SCC Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Some experience with automation tools (i.e. Ansible)
Windows support and administration experience in an Active Directory (LDAP) environment
Experience implementing and managing a Containerized infrastructure.
Advanced knowledge and understanding the implementation of security and vulnerability scanning tools; such as ACAS/Nessus, STIG's, and SCC
Experience maintaining enterprise-wide storage and network infrastructure
