Maintenance Worker

Under the direct supervision of the Building Service and Fleet Manager, the Maintenance Worker will be responsible for ensuring overall cleanliness of building. Duties will include:

1. Ensure the overall sanitation/cleanliness of ARC sites including; vacuuming, shampooing floors, clean air condition filters, emptying garbage bins, cleaning windows sills etc.

2. Clean / mop / dust all stairways and ensure cleanliness of bathrooms all floors

3. Assist with lifting/moving of supplies when delivered as needed ensuring boxes are properly broken and discarded.

4. Ensure cleanliness of the outside of all sites including minor landscaping as needed

5. Secure /dispose of trash and put out for garbage pickup

6. Must be able to perform general labor/work such as changing bulbs, replace/repair locks, basic repairs , painting, set up furniture (chairs/desk etc)

Job Requirements:

- Must possess the physical skills and stamina to perform job responsibility, including but not limited to lifting, and carrying.

- Must possess driver's license

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Living in Brooklyn area preferable
