Quality Engineer Stf (Level 4) with Security Clearance

• Develops and writes programs for numerically controlled machines that have on machine probing and coordinate measuring machines using engineering specifications drawings and models. • Analyzes engineering drawings and models to define configuration of parts and determine type and sequence of inspection operations. • Develops programs for inspecting parts, tools or sheet metal on computer controlled machines. Makes proper probe selections for each part. • Selects program routines for the most efficient computer calculation on inspection requirements for each part. • Tests and modifies existing inspection parts programs for engineering changes or program improvements.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

• Experience with 5 years or more programming computer controlled measuring machines professional or academic. • A background with 5 years or more experience utilizing computer aided design software. • Experience with Laser Trackers and portable measuring equipment.
• Self-starter needing little to no supervision of tasks.
• MS Office skills needed.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with CATIA V5 - FIBERSIM, VERISURF, PCDMIS, MASTER CAM and VERICUT.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
