Packaging Operator, Night Shift

This position will require a self-directed, team oriented individual who takes pride and ownership in his/her work. We will train you for this position. Earn $20 per hour (includes night shift differential).

Hours of Work: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that work areas are clean
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs and maintain hazard free work areas.
• Responsible for the manufacturing of safe, legal and quality product.
• Monitor product flow.
• Clear product jams.
• Add cartons and change packaging film.
• Add containers to case packers.
• Make operational adjustments to maintain proper machine rates and packaging quality.
• Complete required production paperwork to accurately calculate run time, efficiencies and cases produced.
• Always maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Be able to effectively communicate with team members to support a self-directed work environment.
• Use sound judgment in exercising caution to insure personal safety and the safety of others.
